PBN Heater, Pyrolytic Boron Nitride Heaters
PBN Heater, Pyrolytic Boron Nitride Heaters
Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) heaters are high-temperature heating elements used in various applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, crystal growth, and advanced materials processing. PBN heaters are made from pyrolytic boron nitride material which is deposited in a high-temperature chemical vapor deposition process.
PBN heaters have excellent thermal stability and high-temperature resistance, making them ideal for use in harsh environments. They can reach temperatures up to 2000°C in vacuum and 1700°C in air. PBN heaters also have excellent chemical stability, low thermal conductivity, and low dielectric constant.
PBN heaters come in various shapes and sizes, including rods, tubes, and custom-designed shapes. They can be used in both horizontal and vertical orientations, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. PBN heaters can also be coated with other materials such as platinum for enhanced performance in specific applications.
Boron Nitride Ceramics Specification
CG Material production formulations are developed to address the varied application problems in which ceramic components are commonly used. Many industrial applications push the envelope on specific requirements leading to the development of new formulations to successfully address them.
