Yttrium(III) chloride hexahydrate (YCl3 · 6H2O) is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula YCl3 · 6H2O. It is a hydrated salt of yttrium and chloride ions.

Yttrium(III) chloride hexahydrate is used as a raw material for the production of other yttrium compounds, and as a dopant in the production of phosphors for lighting and display applications. It is also used in the preparation of various ceramic materials and in some organic synthesis reactions.

In addition to its industrial applications, yttrium(III) chloride hexahydrate has some potential medical uses. It has been studied for its potential as a therapeutic agent in the treatment of certain cancers, particularly bone cancer, and has been shown to have anti-tumor activity in some preclinical studies.
