Tungsten (W) Evaporation Material

Tungsten (W) Evaporation Material

Tungsten evaporation material is a high-purity tungsten source used in thin-film deposition processes, such as physical vapor deposition (PVD) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD). It is often used in the production of semiconductors, solar cells, and other electronic devices, as well as in decorative coatings for jewelry and other applications.

Tungsten evaporation material is typically made by powder metallurgy techniques, such as hot pressing or sintering. The material is produced in various forms, such as pellets, rods, or sheets, depending on the specific requirements of the deposition process. Tungsten evaporation material is characterized by its high purity, good thermal and electrical conductivity, and excellent resistance to corrosion and wear.

During the evaporation process, the tungsten material is heated until it vaporizes and condenses on the surface of the substrate, forming a thin film. The deposition rate and film properties can be controlled by adjusting the temperature, pressure, and other process parameters. Tungsten evaporation material is preferred over other materials, such as molybdenum or tantalum, in certain applications due to its higher melting point, greater stability at high temperatures, and lower vapor pressure.

Applications:
• Used in deposition processes including semiconductor deposition, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and physical vapor deposition (PVD)
• Used for optics including wear protection, decorative coatings, and displays.

Packing: The Tungsten (W) Evaporation materials are vacuum sealed. The MSDS and Material Certification Sheets will be packed with the product.
