Spherical tungsten powder is a type of tungsten powder that has been shaped into small spheres through a process known as atomization. In this process, molten tungsten is forced through a nozzle and then rapidly cooled with a gas or liquid. The resulting powder particles solidify into spherical shapes, which have a uniform size and smooth surface.

Spherical tungsten powder is commonly used in a variety of applications, including:

  1. Additive manufacturing: Spherical tungsten powder is used in the production of tungsten parts through processes such as powder bed fusion and binder jetting.

It is also an ideal heavy metal filler for injection-molding applications due to its large particle size. Tungsten powder is suitable for applications in the metal spray industry.
