Scandium(III) chloride hexahydrate (ScCl3 · 6H2O) is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula ScCl3 · 6H2O. It is a hydrated salt of scandium and chloride ions.

Scandium(III) chloride hexahydrate is used as a raw material for the production of other scandium compounds, and as a dopant in the production of optical fibers and phosphors for lighting and display applications. It is also used in the preparation of various ceramic materials and in some organic synthesis reactions.

In addition to its industrial applications, scandium(III) chloride hexahydrate has some potential medical uses. It has been studied for its potential as a contrast agent in medical imaging, particularly for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and has been shown to have good imaging properties in some preclinical studies.
