Lutetium(III) chloride hexahydrate (LuCl3 · 6H2O) is a white crystalline powder with the chemical formula LuCl3 · 6H2O. It is a hydrated salt of lutetium and chloride ions.

Lutetium(III) chloride hexahydrate is used as a raw material for the production of other lutetium compounds, and as a dopant in the production of scintillators, optical fibers, and phosphors for lighting and display applications. It is also used in the preparation of certain ceramic materials.
